CAD / Environmental Scientist

  • Operates Computer Aided Design (CAD) computer system, including creating, updating and modifying maps; and performs manual drafting.
  • Works closely with building regulating agencies, builders, contractors and the general public.
  • Creates CAD drawings for engineering projects.
  • Creates and modifies maps for special assignments.
  • Incorporates subdivision plats and drawing files into maps.
  • Plots new maps.
  • Copies project drawings.
  • Creates manual drawings for engineering projects.
  • May assist in developing survey maps and layouts, when necessary.
  • Receive, set up, test, and decontaminate equipment. 
  • Conduct pollution surveys, collecting and analyzing samples such as air and ground water.    
  • Perform environmental quality work in field and office settings.
  • Review technical documents to ensure completeness and conformance to requirements.
  • Perform laboratory work such as logging numerical and visual observations, preparing and packaging samples, recording test results, and performing photo documentation.
  • Obtain product information, identify vendors and suppliers, and order materials and equipment to maintain inventory.
  • Produce environmental assessment reports, tabulating data and preparing charts, graphs and sketches.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

 Environmental Branch Manager, New York City

Director of Business Development-Federal Programs Division

PARS Environmental Inc. (PARS), a fast growing, award winning, full service environmental consulting firm headquartered in central New Jersey, is seeking a motivated professional to lead and expand our Federal Programs Division. We are currently providing services to several federal agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (several Districts), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, the National Parks Service, the General Services Administration, etc. The successful candidate must have at least 10 years of demonstrated experience in the development of federal agency clients, federal program management, and excellent oral and written communication skills. A technical degree and registrations/certifications in the environmental or engineering fields preferred, but not required. Recent Contract Awards

September 2012  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)-Louisville District awarded PARS a contract to provide Underground Storage Tank Removal, Remedial Investigation/Interim Remedial Action Removal, and Compliance Restoration Program tasks at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey.

September 2012  The U.S. Air Force awarded PARS a contract to provide mold remediation services at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA.

September 2012  Several private-sector clients awarded PARS contracts to provide comprehensive Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) services in New Jersey. These services are provided under the direction of Mr. Constantine Tsentas, LSRP, Vice President, and Mr. Michael Moore, LSRP, Senior Associate.

August 2012  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)-Louisville District awarded PARS a contract to develop Non-BRAC Disposal Documentation for several Army Reserve Centers located throughout the northeastern United States. The services include the preparation of Environmental Condition of Properties (ECP) reports, Phase I and Phase II Archeological Surveys, Architectural Surveys/Determination of Eligibility (DOE), etc.

July 2012  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Philadelphia District awarded PARS a contract to perform a PADEP Act 2 Implementation and System Study and Optimization at the former Defense Supply Center-Philadelphia (DSCP) site.
